Hello! I’m Stephanie.
I write about the quiet, honest, surprisingly universal moments we all move through in healthcare, in womanhood, and in being human.

If we were actually on the couch right now, we’d have our coffees, probably with fuzzy blankets, and we’d start with something simple like:

“So… how are you really doing with all of this?”

Because life, and especially anything involving care, is never just about appointments or timing or lab results.
It’s about the tiny emotional waves that hit in between.
The stories we tell ourselves.
The things we carry quietly.
The moments that make us laugh at ourselves or rethink everything.

A Little About Me

I’ve spent twenty years in healthcare on the inside of systems and right in the middle of real people’s lives. But honestly? The moments that stayed with me weren’t the big meetings or the policy updates. It was the human stuff:

the daughter trying to get answers for her mom
the woman overthinking her own lab results
the friend everyone texts when something feels “off”
the mom who Googles things at midnight
the partner trying to hold it together in the car after an appointment

I write because I’ve lived all of those moments, and I know firsthand how much it helps when someone simply says, “I get it.”

My voice blends experience, intuition, a little humor, and an honest desire to connect.
Nothing fancy. Nothing filtered. Just the truth, told gently.
